Brick & Story supported Gragg Cardona Partners to conduct site visioning and stakeholder engagement on behalf of New Bethany Baptist Church in the Shaw neighborhood of Northwest Washington, DC.  A historically black church, New Bethany wished to explore development opportunities to leverage additional land that adjoins the church site in order to expand their mission through the creation of affordable housing and also secure the financial future of their church.  Services included engagement with the Advisory Neighborhood Commission, as well as targeted stakeholder engagement with key neighbors to understand community needs as New Bethany explored possible development scenarios.
